Your Life on the Lawn

You may be familiar with Your Life on the Lawn, screened nationally on Channel 7 in 2003 and 2004. Produced by Grundy Television (Neighbours, Australian Idol, Who Wants to be a Millionaire, Wheel of Fortune) YLOTL was all about getting organised and moving clutter. Each week, a Melbourne home owner had two rooms made over by a hard working team that was led by Organiser Extraordinaire, Lissanne Oliver from SORTED! and Simon Fenner, second hand dealer. The entire contents of two junked up rooms were moved onto the lawn where the owner was confronted by exactly HOW MUCH stuff they owned! Then began challenging process of sorting through everything and making tough decisions about what should stay and what should go.

You won't believe the transformation in these spaces.... offices, bedrooms, living areas, dining rooms, shared spaces and even a shed were transported from chaos - to functioning, beautiful spaces - completely free of crap! But it wasn't just about the physical world... some great memories and stories were also unearthed along the way....
